Family History Research
On this page you will find a family tree with a gallery of photographs below.

If you would like photos of your own Catchlove ancestors to be published on this website
(not living family members for reasons of privacy) please email them to
enquiries@catchlove-research.org with a clear indication of where they fit in the trees.

Alternatively, if you have a photo of a Catchlove ancestor and you don’t know who it is, I’d be happy to publish it in the hope that someone else will recognise them.
Poor Edward of the Workhouse & Matthew the Labourer

Once again, I managed to find a link between what appeared to be two separate families as Matthew the Labourer turned out to be the elder brother of Poor Edward of the Workhouse.  Edward disappears from the records and it is possible that he emigrated.  If anyone has any information please email me at enquiries@catchlove-research.org

Edward, Mary & James
were living together in 1851 and then disappear from the records.
Did they emigrate?
I have “pinked in” the marriage of William CATCHLOVE & Anne COUZENS because it is just possible that the progenitors were William CATCHLOVE & Ann DUNSTON who married at Portsea in 1828 (see Hampshire Family B in My Catchlove Family Trees), although I don’t think so, as all the children were baptised at Warblington, which is on the southern edge of Havant, and the marriage date seems to fit with the children’s baptisms, making it more likely that Ann COUZENS is the mother.
